Ed Chabal Bio

I have served as the Director of Business and Finance and Board Secretary for the Mt. Pleasant Community School District since 1997. I am responsible for overseeing the operations of the business office. I also attend all School Board meetings and record the minutes of the meetings.

 

In addition to my duties on the local level, I am also involved on the state and national level with professional organizations. I have served as President and Treasurer of the Iowa Association of School Business Officials. I am also serving the International Association of School Business Officials as Chair of the Certificate of Excellence Committee and an exam writer for the School Finance and Operations exam.

 

Out of the office, I enjoy woodworking, bicycling and collecting antiques.
