Superintendent's Message
Welcome to the Mount Pleasant Community School District (MPCSD) and our district website! I hope you find the information on our website both informative and helpful as you explore our school district.
Known as the Crossroads of Southeast Iowa, Mount Pleasant is in the heart of Henry County. Our school district serves a diverse population of approximately 2,000 students grades pre-k through 12. We offer a comprehensive academic program including many college credit and Advanced Placement courses. Our students consistently perform above the state average on college entrance exams, including the American College Testing (ACT) exam.
MPCSD’s greatest strength is the relationship between the district and the families we serve. We are proud to partner with our families to assist in providing an education that helps our students become both college and career ready.
